Community Guidelines

Hi there, we're so glad you've decided to join us in Groups! Groups is an inclusive, positive, judgment-free community where we can support one another as we move towards better health together.

If you fail to observe these guidelines, we reserve the right to remove any posts or comments, suspend or permanently terminate your participation in Groups, and if necessary, contact appropriate legal authorities. We update our Community Guidelines from time to time to help keep Groups an inclusive, safe place and do our best to fairly and consistently enforce these guidelines.

  1. Be Kind. We're all in this together to create a welcoming, supportive and positive environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. We all have different opinions and views and we won’t always agree, but kindness is always required.

  2. Be Respectful. Being part of this community requires mutual respect, trust and privacy. This means NO bullying, profanity or negativity around race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, culture, sexual orientation, gender identification, disability or veteran status. Comments that may be viewed as offensive, violent, sexually explicit, threatening, or harassing toward other members of our community are not acceptable.

  3. Be Tidy. In order to keep our Group space tidy and clean: No commercial or copyrighted materials, spam, political ads, ads relating to the sale of goods or services, or other materials that don’t have a place here. Comments, questions, and contributions should be pertinent to the group’s subject matter or topic being discussed.

  4. Be Safe. Groups are not intended to provide medical advice. Views shared by other members of the community do not necessarily reflect the views of Hinge Health or any member of the Hinge Health staff. Always check with your personal physician before undertaking any new exercise or diet regimen. Please do not share personally identifying information, such as your email or home address or telephone number.

We encourage anyone who is struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or knows someone who is seriously considering suicide, to immediately contact legal authorities, or dial “988”, the three-digit, nationwide phone number to connect directly to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

We all need to feel safe to create community. If you feel these guidelines are not being honored let us know at at help@hingehealth.com or 855.902.2777.
