  • The AccessABLE ERG hosted a book club event open to all Hinge Health employees, centred on the book Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to be an Ally, by Emily Ladau.

  • All were encouraged to attend the discussion, whether they had read the book or not, and to join the conversation on how the key concepts from the book apply at Hinge Health

  • So that all attendees were able to join in and contribute authentically to the conversaion, hosts shared specific excerpts from the book to guide the conversation and have participants reflect and share

  • Panelist shared their experiences to the theme of advocacy, sharing powerful experiences from times they have needed to advocate for themselves

  • Additionally, panelists shared positive experiences of times other employees at Hinge Health team have been a supportive advocate for them

Candid Conversation: Advocating for Yourself & Others

  • The AccessABLE ERG hosted a company wide event in the Candid Conversation Series to the theme of: Advocating for Yourself and Others

  • Three inspiring employees who identify as having disability, shared their personal and professional experiences around access and advocacy
