What is the Hinge Health program?
Our program is designed to help you reduce chronic pain from the comfort of your own home.
We provide you with:
- A personalized, stretching and strengthening exercise regimen
- Hints and tips on reducing pain
- A health coach to support you and answer your questions
You can access these through our app which we’ll send to you, pre-installed on a tablet computer.
What do I need to do during the program?
Spend just 10 minutes in the Hinge Health app, 3 times a week. It’s that easy.
- Each time you log into the app, complete a short exercise therapy session.
- A pair of wearable sensors will track your movement and guide you through the exercises.
- No gym clothes or equipment needed. Everything is provided in the Hinge Health kit.
What happens now that I’ve signed up?
You should have received a start date for your program in your email.
All you need to do is wait until your kit arrives. We’ll let you know when it's shipped - usually about a week before your start date.
As soon as you receive your kit connect the tablet to WiFi, log in and get started. There’s a tutorial waiting for you.
When will I feel results?
You may see results in 4-6 weeks or as early as a few sessions.
It’s important to understand that real progress takes a few weeks. You may not improve immediately, but this is completely normal.
How long is the program?
We’re committed to working with you for the next 6 months because the Hinge Health program is designed to reduce your pain for the long-term.
The first 12 weeks will help you form healthy habits and we'll continue to support you in maintaining these improvements.
